When It's On

So here it is, folks. A final astonishing reprise of the exterior painting befores and afters.

INTERIOR PORCH

The porch used to be painted all one color. Remember this? Now it's painted with body and trim. Much nicer. Hard to get a good shot, but this should serve.

EXTERIOR PORCH

Note the metal-looking stuff just above the gutters. That stuff is flexible adhesive flashing. They installed it all over the house (not the garage). I think I mentioned it before, but it ensures that water that comes off the roof goes into the gutter without ruining the paint job or wearing down the wood.

Also note the foundation color. It's actually a standard gray color, but it's hard to tell, since the tone of the body is very similar.

GARAGE

We call him Jumpshot (because when it's on, get your umbrella out), but I'm mainly using this before picture because I don't have other befores of the garage. An oversight on my part, but really... who takes a picture of his orange garage?

EXTERIOR FRONT

Painting finito. Hip hip hooray! Now let's hope it lasts for a decade. Fingers crossed!
