Going Green

The stairs to the basement are going green at some point soon with porch and deck paint. The last stair has been cracked and creaky. So we slapped a piece of 5/8" ply on there and sanded it a little bit.





Also, we moved a shelf in the garage to make it accessible without a ladder.


In the picture above, see those big horizontal pieces of wood up near the roof and behind the lightbulb? We cut them back and laid them on the concrete reinforcement in the back. Everything except moving the giant posts around was pretty easy.


Happy Monday, everyone! It really feels like Fall here. It's about 55 degrees.

I took a pic this morning of the front yard grass and added it to Look Respectable. The grass loved the hurricanes.
